What are the responsibilities of a crop manager?
Crop managers are in charge of everything that has to do with growing crops. This includes finding land, planting, fertilizing, controlling weeds, harvesting, grading, and record keeping

Ms. Carter works closely with the farm owner in the office and attends weekly staff meetings and participates in both big picture strategizing and daily operational decisions.

She has gained her extensive experience and training through work experience, finding apprenticeships at local farms in Georgia and Alabama, and by inheriting her family’s farm.
